BÔ – LA KARRIERE PROJECT

Three sculptures: Annana, l’Esprit de l’Arbre, Yeux de Mer.

Annana is an Inuit name meaning “Mother”.
The body of a mother represents all of nature, a sun, a moon, a flower, a seed, a tree too, the world around me.

L’Esprit de l’Arbre: Blue sky, red earth of Yunnan, at the top of the hill there’s a big tree, it’s like a big magic parasol. It grows from earth to the sky, with deer antlers on head, it wears seeds on trunk, fish scales, with open face. Il is symbol of fertility and immortality.

Yeux de Mer ( The eyes of sea ): In the depth of the sea lives the plankton, tiny creature, white and pure. It looks like the eyes of the sea. I imagine that humans become plankton, reversing roles and becoming aware of and respectful of this tiny, ephemeral space.
